Our people

Current responsibilities

Lester Carver is a Vice President for the Project and Development Services group in the Mid-Atlantic Region.  He is currently responsible for managing the tenant fit out of 17,000 s.f. for Ernst & Young, which complies with strict historic guidelines; the in-place renovation of two floors for the Insurance Institute for Highway Safety; 25,000 s.f. renovation and relocation for Tier Technologies; and a 12 month cooling tower renovation at the International Monetary Fund.

Experience

Lester has consistently received recognition from his clients for his attention to detail, ability to work well with a project team, and for his "…un-wavering commitment to…" the client's vision. He has simultaneously managed multiple clients such as Deutschebank, Sun Microsystems, T. Rowe Price, and Grosvenor

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Lester worked for Turner Construction Company as a Project Manager in the Special Projects Division, where he managed design-bid-build and design-build projects for the Bachelor's Enlisted Quarters at Andrews Air Force Base, the Patent and Trademark Office in Alexandria, VA, and the General Services Administration (Interstate Customs Commission and U.S. Environmental Protection Agency).  Lester also held positions with similar responsibilities with R.W. Murray and ENSAT. 

Lester worked for two years in support of the General Services Administration Public Building Services while employed by Anadac.  His responsibilities there were as the owner's representative on interior office space projects.

Education and affiliations

Associates in applied science, Environmental Science degree from Mountain Empire Community College

Associates in applied science Construction Management degree from Northern Virginia Community College

B.S. in Construction Management degree (with a specialization in Federal Government Procurement) from George Mason University

For assignments with both ENSAT and Anadac, Lester applied for and was issued a Top Secret level security clearance by DEFENSE INDUSTRIAL SECURITY CLEARANCE OFFICE (DISCO).
