Brandon is a Vice President of JLL's Retail Advisory group focusing on Central and North Florida markets. He specializes in the strategic leasing of retail in unique environments including urban mixed-use, university campuses, student housing and entertainment centers. Additionally, he has extensive knowledge in the Orlando tourist market forging strong relationships with key landlords and retailers.
In his agency leasing practice, Brandon has succeeded in repositioning struggling properties by launching new branding campaigns and focusing efforts on remerchandising a property resulting in significant value creation for his client. He has helped lead efforts to redevelop iconic properties in the market and help landlords create better experiences for their customer by achieving optimal tenant mix.
In his tenant representation practice, Brandon has helped his clients in strategic regional rollouts throughout the state. He has also completed several new to market rollouts for national retailers and restaurant groups. Brandon utilizes the best in technology to help retailers analyse and select their locations, whether it be for a single transaction or for a multi-unit multi-franchisee expansion plan.
Prior to joining JLL, Brandon previously worked for the University of Central Florida (UCF) Convocation Corporation as the Director of Development where he was responsible for reviewing prospective retail tenants to ensure financial viability and a complementary tenant mix. The UCF Convocation Corporation owns a $250 Million mixed-use project consisting of the 10,000 seat CFE Arena, the 2,000 seat Venue, 2,000 beds of student housing and 80,000 square feet of retail. Additionally, he worked for CRE Consultants (former CB Richard Ellis alliance) as an Associate Director and successfully represented retailers including Bank of America, Auto Owners Insurance and Sprint/Nextel Corporation. His additional experience includes working for Commercial Property Southwest Florida (Cushman & Wakefield alliance) where he represented national financial and health care institutions as the exclusive landlord representative. He also worked as a legislative aide to Rep. Scott Plakon in the Florida House of Representatives where he was responsible for policy analysis, development, research, office management and public relations.
Education Brandon earned a bachelor of science degree in business administration with a major in real estate from the University of Central Florida. Brandon is the Chair of the ICSC Orlando Planning Committee.
