​Experience
Mr. Freeman has over 16 years of combined professional real estate experience which spans: corporate real estate, development, investment and asset management, and brokerage.  Since joining JLL, Mr. Freeman has been responsible for completing transactions covering over 5.0 million square feet of space.  Mr. Freeman was heavily involved with the disposition of real property assets in conjunction with General Motors aggressive plans for corporate downsizing and reorganization. In 2009, Mr. Freeman joined the Kaiser Permanente account team leading transactions in California and Hawaii.  Mr. Freeman is now responsible for transaction delivery across a 15 state geography in the Western US.

Current responsibilities
Mr. Freeman is a Senior Vice President & National Director with the Corporate Solutions group at Jones Lang LaSalle, currently serving as the Lead Transaction Advisor for the Bank of America Administrative Portfolio in the Western US. In his prior role, Mr. Freeman spent five years as a Senior Transaction Advisor servicing Kaiser Permanente. Mr. Freeman also spent several years working on the optimization and monetization of the General Motors real estate portfolio helping to position GM for its existence post-bankruptcy.  Mr. Freeman joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2006 and has since has completed over $650 million in transactions on behalf of his clients.  Mr. Freeman's experience spans all major property types and his expertise includes corporate real estate alignment, portfolio optimization, and transaction management, Mr. Freeman has extensive experience in capital transactions having completed over 25 during his tenure at Jones Lang LaSalle.  In addition to his transaction responsibilities, Mr. Freeman is the Southwest Region Service Line lead to the Transaction Advisory Services (TAS) business line helping manage talent, improve service delivery, and secure new business for TAS. 

Achievements
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle in 2006, Mr. Freeman spent four years in land development and five years in investment, acquisition, and management.  In 2009, as part of the Kaiser Permanente account team, Mr. Freeman and his colleagues were recognized by CoreNet Global for their achievements in Corporate Real Estate Excellence.  In 2011, Troy was recognized as a CoStar Power Broker in Los Angeles.  In 2012, Troy was recognized as a Power Broker in the Santa Clarita Valley.  In 2013, Troy was recognized as JLL’s Corporate Solutions All-Star award recipient.  In 2014, Troy recognized with a CoreNet Remmy for Broker Creative Solution.  In addition to his current responsibilities with Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Freeman has also served as an Adjunct Lecturer at  the School of Business at California Lutheran University.

Education
​​Mr. Freeman holds a Bachelor of Science in Business and Master of Business Administration with an emphasis in Finance from California Lutheran University in Thousand Oaks, California.  Additionally, Mr. Freeman holds a Master of Science in Real Estate and Construction Management from the University of Denver.  Mr. Freeman holds real estate licenses in both California and Arizona, has earned the LEED AP accreditation from the United States Green Building Council, and has earned the Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) designation from the CCIM Institute.
