​​Current Responsibilities 
Thomas Fattorusso is a Senior Project Manager in the PDS/ Healthcare Division managing Projects for one of New York's premier hospital facilities in lower Manhattan.  This project is comprised of an entire new floor of single-occupant patient-beds and also contains all new patient- support areas including nurse stations, soil/clean and storage rooms, nourishment stations and other patient-care areas. The project requires all new MEP for the Build-out with new HVAC, Nurse Call, Fire Alarm, sprinkler and Medical Gases. 

Concurrent with the project is a multitude of new projects including an Infusion Suite renovation and an initiative to obtain the Building’s TCO and CO. These Projects include a multitude of trade work and building coordination with end-users, consultants and various NYC-regulatory agencies.  

Experience 
Thomas has over a decade of direct project management experience including projects that require department of health and other regulatory filings. The Projects have ranged from administrative areas to lobby renovations and full-gut construction of patient-care areas. Most of his tenure in the field has been with Columbia University and New York Presbyterian Hospital and their affiliated locations throughout the NYC area. 

As the Project Manager, Thomas routinely leads the entire construction process with direct management of the Contractors and Design Management team including the Architect, Designers, Consultants and Mechanical Engineers for the various Projects. A majority of the renovations are developed from space-planning initiatives and concept reviews with the End-user Groups. Thomas manages the Project throughout schematic and design development and then lead the various teams as we enter physical construction of the location, commissioning of the new areas and eventual finalization of the Project including financial closeout of all Contracts. 

Projects have included work in occupied space, usually with detailed mechanical coordination, purchasing and subsequent scheduling of major medical equipment as well as facilitating completion of the work under strict schedule and budget constraints. 

​Education and Affiliations 
Thomas majored in mechanical engineering and literature at Brooklyn Technical College and Orange County Community College respectively. He has received OSHA Training, Notary Public and refrigeration licensing for CFC reclamation in NYC. Thomas has been trained in Safety coordination by Columbia University and NYPH for Infection Control and bloodborne Pathogen Control Practices.
