Our people

​​Current Responsibilities 
Robert Lipson joined the NY Healthcare Division as a Senior Project Manager in August 2012.  Since then he has been responsible for managing multiple gut renovation projects at one of the highest ranked pediatric hospitals in the country. They include a 14-bed Pediatric ICU, a 17-bed Neonatal ICU, a 16-bed Antepartum Suite for expectant mothers, a PEDs MRI, and a Digestive Health practice.  New infrastructure to support the projects has also been added.  The total budget for this work is over $50M across 45,000 square feet throughout the hospital.

Before joining JLL Robert served as a Senior Associate and Senior Project Manager at The Rockwell Group and at HOK Architects where he managed many Healthcare Projects including the Childrens Hospital at Montefiore in the Bronx, Devos Children’s Hospital in Grand Rapids, the University Medical Center at Princeton, a new Ambulatory Pavilion and a 24-bed Transplant Unit at SUNY Downstate in Brooklyn, as well as the South Campus Masterplan for The Ohio State University Medical Center.
During the first 15 years of his career, before deciding to focus solely on Healthcare projects, Robert managed a wide variety of building types.  The list includes Ballparks:  Comerica Park Detroit; Corporate Headquarters: Southland Corporation, Dallas and McCann Erickson Advertising, NYC; Retail Stores: Barneys New York on Madison Avenue and in Beverly Hills, Armani Flagship NYC, and Valentino Boutique NYC; Hotels: Fairmont Hotel, Chicago and Chambers Hotel, Minneapolis; Restaurants: Rosa Mexicano NYC, Maze in London for Chef Gordon Ramsay, and Chambers Kitchen for Chef Jean-Georges Vongerichten.
