​​Current responsibilities
Michael Behrouzian is a Senior Project Manager in the Northeast Region of JLL.  He assists in managing projects throughout North America, utilizing his skills as both a project manager and an engineer.  

Michael is currently dedicated 100% to World Trade Center Project.  His experience has saved over 15 million dollars for the project he is responsible for.

Prior to joining the World Trade Center project, he worked at Madison Square Garden project working as a Senior Project Manager supervising the major renovation of the facility valued at approximately $800 million.  He has been actively involved with the coordination of the mechanical and life safety systems at MSG. His responsibilities also include managing the commissioning process for MEP systems.

During his career, Michael’s extensive field experience supervising all aspects of construction has enabled him to foresee potential issues that customarily add significant cost to a project. 

Experience
Prior to joining JLL, Michael was a senior project manager for 14 years with HRH Construction LLC. During this time, he managed projects in the healthcare, commercial and high-tech industries.

He was involved in all aspects of the project cycle: design, construction, installation, start-up and commissioning.  His financial and project responsibilities included scheduling, coordinating all contractors, change orders, reviewing and making recommendations on design documentation.   

While at HRH, Michael’ s experience in the health care industry included construction and renovations at Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center, New York State Psychiatric Institute, St. Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital’s clinical laboratories, and New York University (NYU) Medical Center’s radiology renovation, where he received recognition from the Senior Vice President of NYU Medical Center for timely completion of the project, and for his effective coordination aimed at eliminating interruptions to existing services. He was commended for attaining a fire alarm inspection sign off without letter of defect; the first of its kind at the New York Medical Center.  

Michael also served as Senior Project Manager of the Ogilvy’s worldwide headquarters renovation.  As a result of his creative value engineering, the final HVAC contract was under $8 million, compared to bids received ranging between $13 million and $15 million.  

Education
Michael is a graduate of Northeastern University with a Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Mechanical Engineering.
