​​Current Responsibilities 
Jose Pinheiro is a Project Manager for Jones Lang LaSalle’s Project & Development Services in New York, NY. Jose is currently part of the team that is overseeing the design and construction of the retail and parking assets for a mixed use development site in New York City. 

Experience
Jose has 14 years experience in the Project Management and Consulting field. Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle in May, 2010, Jose's experience involved working for two different firms that provided exposure to a wide spectrum of the overall Design & Construction process. First, he worked as a Construction Project Manager for The Whiting-Turner Contracting Company for 6-1/2 years, where he was responsible for the completion of several different projects, such as a 50,000sf dormitory at SUNY Purchase ($10M), a 200,000sf Retail & Parking facility in White Plains, NY ($100M), and an interior renovation of a 10,000sf wing at the White Plains Hospital (fast track, $1M). 

Subsequent to Whiting-Turner, Jose worked as a Cost Consultant for Davis Langdon for 4-1/2 years, providing cost planning, management, and estimating services for a variety of different projects, clients (including Developers and world reknown Architects such as Foster + Partners, SOM, and Snohetta), and locations around the globe. Here, valuable services provided to clients included advising and establishing realistic budgets during very early conceptual design stages.​​

Education and Affiliations 
Jose holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Mechanical Engineering from the Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, NY, and is a LEED AP.
