​​Current Responsibilities
Michael Hardy is a registered Architect and Project Director with over 25 years of design, construction and project management experience, including 20 years in healthcare. Michael is responsible for managing mid to large healthcare projects from inception to occupancy, including building the project team, negotiating contracts on behalf of the owner, coordinating the development of the design, obtaining a Guaranteed Maximum Price (GMP) and managing all phases of a project from construction through the occupancy of the facility.

Previous Experience
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Michael was Project Director at Granary Associate, now Stantec. His clients included: Montefiore Medical Center, Westchester Medical Center, Albert Einstein College of Medicine of Yeshiva University, Catholic Health Services of Long Island, Hoboken University Medical Center, International AIDS Vaccine Initiative, Memorial Sloan-Kettering Cancer Center and Weill Cornell Medical College.

His recent project experience includes ground-up development of a 260,000 s.f. Children’s Hospital in Westchester, NY, several Emergency Department expansions, a 15,000 s.f. Radiation Oncology Center retrofit, management of multiple complicated renovation projects on multiple campuses and master plan feasibility studies for two $400mm plus projects.

Michael previously served SLCE Architects as Project Architect where his clients included: Albert Einstein College of Medicine, Bloomfield Nursing Home, Maple View Manor Nursing Home, Sheepshead Bay Palm Gardens Nursing Home and Stern College for Women of Yeshiva University, among others. Michael began his career with Fred Thomas Associates, Abraham & Karp and later moved to Health & Hospitals Corporation.

Education and Affiliations
Michael has a Bachelor of Architectural Technology from New York Institute of Technology. He is a registered Architect in the State of New York and a member of American Institute of Architects.
