​Current Responsibilities
With over 30 years experience, Walter Kuczek has an extensive background in the areas of construction project management and real estate development including healthcare.  He has expertise in site evaluation, site selection, permitting, feasibility and marketing studies, project planning and budgeting, project financing, construction management, cost estimating, value engineering, real estate development and property management.  He is currently Senior Project Manager for Jones Lang LaSalle for 120,000 SF of oncology-related projects.  His previous healthcare related experience includes a $96mm nine story hospital expansion. He also led a design-build team for the development of a Research Park affiliated with the University of Connecticut including the first building, a laboratory/research incubator facility and conference center. Other related experience includes a number of skilled nursing and senior living projects. Prior to these consulting assignments, Walter had been the Chief Executive Officer for both a General Contracting and a Real Estate Development firm.

Related Experience
Walter served as Chief Executive Officer for a Connecticut based real estate development firm active in the development and construction of office and industrial parks.  Over a seven year period the firm constructed approximately 500,000 square feet of office and warehouse space for a variety of corporate clients.  Prior to this position, Walter was President of a General Contracting firm specializing in commercial and industrial design-build projects for private and public clients.
