Current Responsibilities
Greg Rutherford is a Vice President for Jones Lang LaSalle’s Project and Development Services specialty in the Northeast Region.  Greg Rutherford’s is currently assigned to the Madison Square Garden Renovation project assisting in the management of the projects budget and funding allocations, architectural trade field reviews,  progress payments and management of design teams.   The project is a multi-phased full facility renovation with a value of over $850M. Greg Rutherford has over 27 years of project management experience in commercial, residential, education,  healthcare and sports/entertainment arena projects.

Greg Rutherford has experience in all aspects of Project Management from inception to closeout.  Prior to his current position he was assigned at the World Trade Center Redevelopment project leading consultant teams in a campus wide integration of multiple base building management and life safety systems.  He also provided construction monitoring services for a mezzanine lender financing a high-end residential condominium project in New York City.    

In addition, he has completed over 3M SF of fit-out work at various facilities for the Bank of America ranging from trading floors, office interiors, data centers and disaster recovery centers to infrastructure improvements.  He led the team overseeing the construction of a 400,000 SF LEED Gold Trading Floor at One Bryant Park in NYC.  He was assigned full time to the Bank of America Account for over 5 years completing numerous projects including infrastructure upgrades at 9W57 Street, fast tracked trading floor fit outs at 1633 Broadway and Disaster Recovery Renovations in Secaucus N.J.  Greg Rutherford has also performed technical lease reviews including review for 30 Rockefeller Plaza where the bank leased 14 floors totaling approximately 320,000sf.    

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Greg Rutherford was a Senior Project Manager for Project Control Group managing office interior fit outs. In previous years he has work for O’Brien Kreitzberg managing staff and school rehabilitation projects for the Department of Design and Construction.  He also worked for the School Construction Authority managing close to 1M SF of rehabilitation and new construction projects.  Greg Rutherford has also worked as a project manager in the construction of health care facilities.

Education and Affiliations 
Greg Rutherford earned a Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering from Pratt Institute.  He LEED Accredited – Commercial Interiors and a Certified Energy Auditor (AEE).
