​​Current Responsibilities
Bret Keeney is a vice president in the Project and Development Services group of JLL’s Northeast Region. He currently acts as program manager for the firm’s Bridgewater Associates’ account, with responsibility for coordination of all project management initiatives in the client’s Connecticut headquarters and nearby locations. Bret Keeney joined JLL in 2009.

Bret Keeney has more than 20 years of experience in the management, administration and construction of space, and has completed projects involving office locations, transportation facilities, corporate interiors, education facilities, residential developments and landmarked structures, among others.

Notable Past JLL Assignments
Prior to his current assignment, Bret Keeney managed the Northeast retail roll-out program for Jones Lang LaSalle’s T-Mobile account. In that position, he provided project management services for T- Mobile’s new retail store construction program and held responsibility for leading its retail plan development inclusive of lease transaction negotiations, design management, general contractor procurement, construction and overall budget management through financial close-out for multiple projects. He was assigned to the East Region and oversaw new store construction in New York City, Long Island, Upstate New York, Westchester County, NY, New Jersey and Connecticut.

Bret Keeney also previously managed projects for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey at the World Trade Center. As a senior project manager and JLL’s lead project manager, he oversaw a team of six project managers involved in the World Trade Center redevelopment, with specific focus on the planning  of  the  observation  deck  and  restaurant  in  One  World  Trade  Center  and  the  overall development of the interconnecting below-grade retail across the 16-acre site. His duties included general administrative consulting, space planning for prospective tenants, lease review tenant coordination with the General Services Administration (GSA), and coordination of space for the Metropolitan Television Alliance (MTVA) inside and on the antenna of One World Trade Center.

Education and Affiliations
Bret Keeney has a diploma in Building Construction Management from New York University, is a New York State Certified Class “C” licensed portable water operator and has recently earned his LEED Green Associate credential. Bret Keeney is a journeyman carpenter, formerly a member of the Local 608. He has completed AMA-Facilities Management and OSHA 500 training.
