Current responsibilities
Ms. DelaFuente is a Vice President in the Strategic Consulting group in the San Francisco office.  She has broad workplace consulting and occupancy planning experience with particular emphasis in the program management and activity-based workplace design.  Ms. DelaFuente has made a significant impact on the development and implementation of the Master Plans for Genentech, Intuit and Yahoo among others. She has also been a part of the development and implementation programs for Flexible work most recently at Intuit & HSBC Mexico. In her time at Jones Lang LaSalle, she has had a strong focus on client satisfaction and account service improvements through best practices and innovations. Mrs. DelaFuente is also a Subject Matter Expert for Jones Lang LaSalle’s Occupancy Planning practice. She has been involved in transformation efforts; most recent engagements include Honeywell and DIRECTV.​

Previous experience
Laura DelaFuente brings a unique problem solving perspective and her strategic analytical capability is built on over 18 years of experience in architecture, interiors and consulting. As a designer and strategic planner, she provides expertise in correlating business strategies to planning, design and management of work environments.  Prior to JLL, she led a privately held planning group focusing her work at Genentech for the Strategic Facilities Planning group.  Ms. Delafuente has also served as the workplace learning specialist for Teknion and the Strategic Consulting group at HOK, where she also practiced Interior design.

Education and affiliations
Mrs. DelaFuente has attended the Executive Education Programs at Harvard Graduate School of Design. She earned her master’s degree from Cornell University, with a focus on Interior Design and Workplace Studies. She has a bachelor of Architecture from the National University in Mexico City where she graduated with honors.
