Current responsibilitiesRichard Ventura is a Project Manager for Jones Lang LaSalle’s Project and Development Services team in the Northeast Region and is a dedicated resource on the Fidelity Investments account. His experience includes managing interior tenant fit-outs, programming and planning large scale restacks, and infrastructure construction. His current responsibilities include managing the design and construction of a $15M generator and main switchgear replacement along with many smaller client facing projects. Mr. Ventura recently completed a large restack of five business groups which involved the fit-out of 15,000 sqft of office space and a 130 workstation replacement to facilitate realignment of approximately 500 associates. Additionally he completed a fast track finish upgrade of approximately 110,000 sqft in an occupied call center. As project lead, he communicates well with all team members including the client, design firms, general contractors, furniture vendors and data/phone and security vendors to ensure project goals are met and value is created for the client. Years of experience30+ExperienceWith more than 30 years’ experience in Construction and Operations, Mr. Ventura’s extensive background helps him perform his work at the highest level while considering the needs and perspectives of multiple disciplines. Mr. Ventura has been on the Fidelity account since May 2000 as a Project Manager originally working for Creative Office Pavilion. At the recommendation of the client he joined Jones Lang LaSalle in January of 2012, when JLL was awarded the PDS contract. Before that, he was the Operations Manager for New England Satellite Systems in Shrewsbury, Mass where he managed the daily assignments of five remote satellite trucks and twelve technicians and engineers operating throughout the Northeast providing live television broadcasts to major networks like ABC, NBC, ESPN, etc. He previously ran his own residential construction company. Education and affiliationsMr. Ventura attended Claude H. Patten Vocational School where he studied Carpentry, thus launching his career in the construction trades. During an economic downturn he re-tooled by studying Telecommunications Electronics at Wentworth Technical Institute. His love of construction brought him back to this field where he has remained. He is well versed in all aspects of MEP and design, and is highly respected among his peers. He is also a founding member and sits on the board of the Community Altruists, a charitable organization located in southern New Hampshire.
