Current responsibilities

As a Senior Vice President, with over 17 plus years of experience, Lucy Kitchin provides negotiation, client service, financial service, and marketing support for lease procurements. Lucy uses her expertise to analyze complex real estate matters, market research, due diligence and the preparation of project solicitations. The Government Investor Service (GIS) team is closely linked with the best-in-class JLL market research. Together, the team members provide economic forecasting and thought leadership to both clients and internal JLL partners. Lucy's ability to navigate the ever changing people and policies of government bureaucracy truly provides her clients with unique expertise. Her expertise is leveraged across the entire JLL platform. Based in Washington, DC, the GIS team is in constant interaction with critical members of the Executive and Legislative Branches of government. These branches influence federal real estate elections, which impact JLL clients across the nation.

    • Represented Potomac Center South for their lease renewal in Washington, DC
  • The JBG Companies | 955 L'Enfant Plaza, SW, Washington, DC (20,000 s.f.)
    • Represented ownership in the acquisition for the Institute for Museum and Library Sciences
  • DRA | University Office Park, the Colgate Building, 2920 Brandywine Road, Atlanta, Georgia (71,580 s.f.)
    • Represented ownership for the lease renewal for the Centers of Disease Control (CDC)
  • RMR Group | Drug Enforcement Agency (DEA), 4650 Viewridge Road, San Diego, California (100,000 s.f.)
    • Represented ownership, in the acquisition of a 15 year lease, for the Defense Contracting Management Agency
  • Moore & Associates | Bethesda Towers, 4330 and 4340 East West Highway, Bethesda, Maryland (123,996 s.f.)
    • Represented ownership in the lease renewal for the Consumer Product Safety Commission (CPSC). The lease incorporated a 20% space reduction per Congressional mandate and was the first lease in the National Capital Region
  • G8 Capital | 6315 Bren Mar Drive, Alexandria, Virginia (85,666 s.f.)
    • Represented ownership in the lease renewal which incorporated a 20% square foot reduction
