​Current responsibilities 
Danielle Friend is a Vice President in San Francisco. Danielle often works in concert with JLL’s Tenant Rep and Agency Leasing Brokers on executing projects as well as new business development efforts. She is currently responsible for managing a wide range of construction projects for clients ranging from Fortune 500 corporations and institutional property owners to tech start-ups. Danielle represents her clients on various types of projects including ground-up new construction, tenant and leasehold improvements, as well as relocations and consolidations. She successful leads project teams to meet deadlines and stay within budget all while cultivating lasting client and vendor relationships. Within the JLL organization, she is focused on participating in cross-functional initiatives that help drive the firms’ strategic objectives.

Prior to moving to the San Francisco Markets team, Danielle worked as a Project Manager on JLL’s BMO Harris Bank Account in Chicago. She was selected by account leadership to work on the Client’s largest construction project to-date: the full interior build-out of a $43.7M, 380,000 square foot office space designed to house the Bank’s Technology and Operations’ National Headquarters. The project was completed on schedule and under budget; with over $3M documented cost saves and avoidances. Danielle then went on to lead the American with Disabilities Act (ADA) Program for 300 retail branch locations, valued at over $15M of capital improvements. 

Danielle began her career at JLL as an Associate Project Manager on the Retail Team of the Bank of America Account in 2010. While in that role, she led projects ranging from Retail Capital Improvements to ground-up New Stores. Additionally, she represented the Central Region Project Management Team as the Single Point of Contact for the Consolidations Program. As a result, she earned the Wow the Client Award for successfully closing and de-branding over 10 retail branches in 3 weeks. Before Danielle joined JLL, she worked in New York City as an architect.

Education and affiliations
Danielle earned her Master of Architecture degree from Pratt Institute as well as a Bachelor of Arts degree with High Honors from the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor. Danielle has received numerous internal awards and recognitions including the JLL VIP Award and Workplace Excellence Award. At JLL, she serves as the Co-Chair of the Northwest Chapter of the Women’s Business Network, and was selected to be a part of JLL’s Emerging Leaders Program in 2016.​
