Our people

Current responsibilities 

Chris leads the 32-person JLL brokerage team in San Francisco and is a member of the company’s Executive Council and Leadership Council. Chris’s primary business is representing institutional landlords and tenants throughout the city’s 85 million square foot commercial office sector. 


Chris has been a top producing broker for JLL since joining the firm in 2007, averaging over 70 transactions and more than one million square feet of leasing per year. He has more than 20 years’ experience as a commercial real estate advisor and plays an active role in regional business development as well as devising strategic leasing, pre-leasing, and development plans for headquarter companies with downtown San Francisco’s largest institutional investors. Chris is consistently recognized for his expertise in commercial real estate advisory and transaction execution. 

Recent honors include

  • Lease of the Year, 440,000 square feet, 2012 Salesforce HQ at 350 Mission (Kilroy) 
  • Development of the Year, 500,000 square feet, 2012 for Macy’s online/Riverbed’s HQ at 680 Folsom (TMG) 
  • Deal of the Year, Lease of the Year and Community Impact of the Year, 2011, 800,000 square feet, Market Square) Twitter’s HQ (Shorenstein) 

Chris was promoted to International Director in July 2012. Prior to that, he was a Managing Director with the firm. Chris is a San Francisco Bay Area native, is married to Stephanie and has a son, Jack (8) and daughter Emerson (4). He loves the San Francisco Giants, 49ers, and Warriors, enjoys snow skiing and attempting to play golf.

Chris holds a B.A. in Business Administration from the University of San Diego.
