​​​​Current Responsibilities 
Carolina Lacerda is currently a Vice President within the Hotels & Hospitality Investment Sales team in the Miami Office, focusing on investment sales activities throughout Southeast Florida, Latin America and the Caribbean. She is currently active in various real estate transactions in the U.S. and South America and has been involved in over $1.5 billion of real estate transactions in the last couple of years. Recent transactions include the Waldorf Astoria Casa Marina (FL), the Waldorf Astoria The Reach (FL), the Bahia Mar Fort Lauderdale Beach (FL), the Buena Vista Palace (FL), NH Bogota (Colombia), among others. 

Ms. Lacerda joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2008, in the Advisory team of the Hotels & Hospitality Group within the São Paulo office.  Her responsibilities included valuations, feasibility studies, strategic planning and investment sales projects throughout South America. Aside from dozens of feasibility studies, recent projects include strategic plan for a Central America hotel management company to enter South American countries, strategic plan for one of the world´s largest international hotel chain's operation in Brazil, and Business Plan to incorporate the needs of the future of hotel supply in Brazil in order to offer solutions for investors, developers and hotel chains. 

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Ms. Lacerda worked as a Catering and Marketing Manager at Tastings by Payard in New York with high profile events. Ms. Lacerda also has experience in the operational and management areas of the hospitality industry within Starwood Hotels and Princess Cruises Cruise Line both within Brazil and Internationally. 

Education and Language Proficiency
Ms. Lacerda graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in International Hospitality Management from Ecole Hôtelière de Lausanne, and has completed a Professional Development course in Hotel Investment and Financing at Cornell.  Ms. Lacerda is proficient in written and spoken Portuguese, English and Spanish and communicates well in French.
