Our people

Current Responsibilities
As the Regional Manager for the Philadelphia Markets Group, Mr. Mayer oversees JLL’s property management teams, servicing local client accounts totaling over 18.7 million square feet.  Kevin is also charged with identifying and developing new business opportunities to grow JLL’s presence in the Greater Philadelphia Region.  In addition, Kevin is the Account Manager of our University of Pennsylvania account, a multi-property commercial management assignment with over 1 million square feet and 150 commercial tenants.

Kevin has over 25 years of commercial property management experience, including high-rise and low-rise office, retail, industrial and life sciences, with properties in both suburban and urban locations.  Kevin has been in the Greater Philadelphia area since 1992 and joined JLL in 2000 as General Manager of One Penn Center, a 680,000 square foot office high-rise in Center City Philadelphia with 130 commercial tenants.  Since assuming the lead management role with JLL in 2003, Kevin has overseen the transition of more than 24 million square feet of new management assignments in the Philadelphia Region including all of our current property management accounts.

Prior to JLL, Kevin served as the Director of Asset Management for Strategic Property Management, Inc., where his responsibilities included management of a Center City high-rise office condominium.  Kevin’s real estate career began in 1989 with Cambridge Properties, Inc., a real estate development firm in Northeast Pennsylvania. He served three years as Project Manager, developing and managing light industrial, residential and commercial real estate projects.

Education and Affiliations
Kevin is a graduate of The Pennsylvania State University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Finance with an emphasis in Real Estate.  Kevin maintains an Associate Real Estate Broker’s license in the State of Pennsylvania.  He has been an active member of the Building Owners and Managers Association (“BOMA”) since 1993, currently serving as an officer on its Board of Directors and is participating in BOMA’s RPA designation program.
