Current Responsibilities
Paige Steers serves as the Director of Retail Marketing for the Americas region of JLL. In her role, Steers is charged with advancing the company's retail profile and business pipeline by influencing key investor and occupier audiences through content marketing, business development, media relations, social media engagement, executive positioning, speaking engagements, and advertising. She also oversees employee communications,  issues management and crisis communications for her group.  Steers defines the strategic direction and delivery of all retail marketing programming including corporate marketing, property marketing, and consumer marketing. She works closely with colleagues in throughout the United States, and partners on global campaigns with her colleagues in Europe, Middle East and Africa and the Asia Pacific regions.

Steers developed and executed strategic communication and marketing programs designed to capitalize on new opportunities by targeting audiences in all the major markets across the country while working with the nation's two largest publicly held REITs. Well-known on the local and national real estate scene, Steers' experience as a strategic marketing counselor is well recognized in the industry, as she brings wide-ranging industry expertise to her role with nearly two decades of commercial real estate promotions and marketing experience.

Prior to joining JLL's Retail Group, Steers served as the Director of Americas Public Relations of JLL for nine years, overseeing all national business lines and regional markets including Capital Markets, Investor Services, Hotels, Public Institutions, Energy & Sustainability Services, Healthcare and Corporate Solutions.  Prior to JLL, Steers served as Trizec Properties' Director of Public Relations, a position she also previously held with Equity Office Properties Trust.  Steers came to Equity Office from the Atlanta office of Edelman public relations, where she served as an account supervisor, overseeing business-to-business and consumer teams for Simon, GGP, Home Depot NASCAR, and ForestExpress.

Steers' previous experience includes corporate marketing and communications for Northwest Airlines' regional carrier Mesaba Airlines. She also served as segment producer and on-air talent for cable television shows in Minnesota and Iowa, and explored the behind-the-scenes media world while touring the Midwest as a camera operator and stage manager for corporate video projects. 

Steers earned her Bachelor of Arts as a broadcast news major and theater minor of Drake University.  She also holds an M.B.A. with a concentration in real estate finance from Roosevelt University, where she was a proud member of the Goldie B. Wolfe Miller scholar program.  Steers is a conversational Spanish speaker and past student of the Instituto de Cervantes in Chicago. Steers is a member of the National Association of Real Estate Editors, the Mortgage Bankers Association, Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW), Urban Land Institute and Fourth Presbyterian Church.
