Current responsibilities
Susan Wasmund is a Managing Director within JLL’s Integrated Portfolio Services (IPS) group, leading the firm’s Occupancy Planning practice.  In this role, she is responsible for client relationship management and the health of 50+ Occupancy Planning accounts. 

She also provides governance and oversight to ensure the scope and services exceed client expectations.

Prior to leading the overall Occupancy Planning practice, Susan grew the OP Projects (Variable) team from concept to a thriving business that provides occupancy planning services on a variable basis to new or existing clients.

Experience
Susan brings over 20 years of real estate experience to her role.  She joined JLL in 1997 and has experience in Occupancy Planning, Project Management and Facilities Management.  

Having worked in all of these disciplines has allowed her the ability to provide integrated solutions surrounding the most effective and efficient use of workspace.

Prior to her leadership roles, Susan served as the Occupancy Planning Manager on the Motorola, Ally, KeyBank and Principal Financial accounts.  She was responsible for the migration and implementation of new CAFM Systems for each client. 

This includes creating and implementing all the space standards and processes, system go-live and running and maintaining consistency to provide metrics around space and space allocation charge back methodologies. 

In addition to space data management, she also ran planning teams to deliver occupancy planning services for all large consolidation, expansion and reconfiguration projects.

She was a winner of the 2008 CoreNet Global Innovators Award, and her work has been published in The Leader magazine.

Education
Susan earned a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago.
