Current Responsibilities
Mr. Hussey, a Project Executive in our Northern California Construction business, is responsible for the preconstruction and operational leadership Northern California construction.  His preconstruction responsibilities include estimating, constructability review of documents, managing preconstruction schedule and deliverables, subcontractor bidding, and Owner contracts.  Mr. Hussey’s construction responsibilities include managing schedule, subcontracts, insurance, submittals and close-out.

With a construction career that spans over 28 years, Mr. Hussey has been involved in all aspects of new construction, seismic retrofit, interior construction, retail & restaurant construction and life science construction projects.  He has worked as a project manager and estimator, gaining the hands-on experience which enables him to excel as a construction manager at Jones Lange LaSalle Construction.  Most importantly he has an extensive knowledge of the various cost-effective methods of construction and an ability to conceptualize projects and provide accurate cost estimates based on both preliminary and final drawings. 
Mr. Hussey’s project experience includes LEED, Building Information Modeling (BIM), Integrated Project Delivery (IPD) and Design/Build.
Prior to joining the firm, Mr. Hussey has worked as a chief estimator and managed construction projects in the San Francisco Bay Area for over twenty-two years. 
Mr. Hussey’s clients include well-known companies like Apple Computer, Barclays Global Investors, UCSF, Cornerstone Research and UBS Investment Bank.

Education and Affiliations
Mr. Hussey holds a bachelor of arts degree from Skidmore College in Saratoga Springs, New York.  Mr. Hussey is an active volunteer for the USGBC’s Northern California Chapter and was the Chairperson of the San Francisco Bay Bridge Branch from 2011-2012.  He has his accreditation as a LEED AP© BD+C.
