Current responsibilities
Mr. Means is responsible for development and management of JLL's Downtown Tenant Representation Practice focusing on office tenants in Chicago's Business District occupying approximately ten to seventy five thousand square feet. With a focus on maximizing business results for corporations in this user group, Brian employs a full-service process driven approach that leads with strategy and ends in skilled implementation. His method produces transparency for internal and external stakeholders, maximal leverage in the marketplace, and consistency across all engagements. Partnering with some of the best and brightest in his industry, Brian always puts together the right team of experts to exceed expectations. 

Experience
Over his eight-year career, Brian has completed approximately $84 million of office real estate transactions. In 2015, He was awarded the JLL Young Gun of the Year award for achievement and halo impact to the organization. Having handled client engagements in downtown Chicago, the suburbs, and across North America he is prepared to ensure his value-add skill set travels where client needs necessitate. Before joining JLL in 2011, Brian was part of the Grubb & Ellis downtown Tenant Representation practice and National Tenant Advisory Group.

Education and affiliations

Mr. Means is a graduate of Indiana University's Kelley School of Business having double majored in Finance-Real Estate and Business Legal Studies. He has also served as Co-Chair of the Young Office Broker's Association (YOBA) for a two year term in which his mission was to provide a pro-bono platform for brokers to further their education, seek mentorship, and build relationships with counter-parts in the industry.
