Current Responsibilities

Joe Goodman is a Vice President in JLL's Pittsburgh Transaction Advisory Group, focusing exclusively on tenant representation in the greater Pittsburgh market. His responsibilities include strategy implementation, coordination and review of market research, lease review/negotiations, and a special emphasis on the financial implications of transactions. Joe's finance background coupled with an advanced understanding of Excel, assists clients in understanding financial implications as they pertain to the decision-making process.

Experience

Before joining the Transaction Advisory Group, Joe served as a Lease Analyst within JLL's Lease Administration Group where he provided financial management and lease administration services to a large national client portfolio. During his time, Joe managed to realize significant cost savings and avoidances for his client while becoming proficient in lease abstraction and interpretation. 

Prior to joining JLL in 2011, Joe spent three years at Howard Hanna Real Estate's corporate headquarters in the secondary marketing department of the company's mortgage division where he handled secondary market transactions for large investment banks.

Education and Affiliations

Joe earned at Bachelor of Business Administration from the Goizueta Business School at Emory University in Atlanta where he pursued a dual concentration in Real Estate and Finance.  In addition, Joe completed two real estate sales internships and an economics minor prior to graduation. Joe has been a licensed real estate salesperson in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania since 2006 and is also licensed in the state of West Virginia.

Joe is also a certified active instructor with the Alan Kells School of Real Estate where he teaches real estate salesperson continuing education and Broker level pre-requisite courses in subjects including Real Estate Finance and Investments.

In 2016, Joe was recognized by the Western Pennsylvania Chapter of the Society of Industrial and Office Realtors (SIOR) as the 2015 Emerging Office Broker of the Year.
