Current Responsibilities
Manages Transaction Advisory services as Country Lead for HSBC Canada. Previously served as a Transaction Advisor for office, call center and data center properties in the US and served as team lead for disposition of a large portfolio of retail locations. As a Transaction Advisor, Mr. Pappas has had full-line responsibility for coordination of client transactions including strategy development, financial analysis, recommendations, site selection, lease negotiations, and obtaining executive approvals.

Nick has been active in commercial and residential real estate since 1985. He has extensive experience in sales, leasing, property management and development.  In addition to client work he owned and operated three real estate businesses prior to joining the Corporate Solutions group of Jones Lang LaSalle in 2007.
Since 2007, Nick has managed many significant transactions on behalf of corporate clients:
  • Transactions completed for more than 6 million RSF.
  • Completed transactions with value in excess of $250 million.
  • Lead successful disposition project of 1,400+ properties.
  • Dispositions and negotiated reductions resulting in over $50 million in cost savings.
Education and Affiliations
Nick attended the University of Illinois for undergraduate and graduate studies where he received a Master of Arts in Real Estate.  He has been licensed as a real estate broker and as an investment advisor.  He is a member of the President’s Council of the University of Illinois Foundation, Board of Directors of the Chicago Illini Club, and American Mensa. 
He has been involved in various civic, professional and charitable organizations including Illinois CCIM, BOMA, Chamber of Commerce and The Greater North Michigan Avenue Association and is an MRICS candidate.
