Current Responsibilities

Davie Berke is an executive vice president of JLL's retail brokerage division. He is responsible for all aspects of real estate advisory, including strategy development, tenant representation and landlord agency leasing. In addition, Mr. Berke specializes in market intelligence, strategic planning, financial consulting and overall management to better assist clients in achieving optimum value. His expertise and knowledge of the New York City real estate market has made him an invaluable resource for clients.


Davie Berke joined JLL Retail in 2012 at the firm's New York location, where he is an executive vice president specializing in landlord and tenant representation on both national and local levels. Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Berke gained valuable experience in the New York real estate market during his tenure at Newmark Grubb Knight Frank Retail.

Mr. Berke has been responsible for leasing over 500,000 square feet of retail space on behalf of some of New York's most prominent landlord's.  He is currently marketing over 90,000 square feet of retail space in major Manhattan markets such as Times Square, Fifth Avenue and SoHo.

Tenant Representation

Mr. Berke has substantial experience implementing and executing retailer roll-out strategies on both national and regional levels. He was instrumental in bringing Maison Kayser to the United States and is now managing the company's expansion throughout the country.  Some of Davie's clients include Maison Kayser, Asics, Burton Snowboards, and all of the Luxottica Brands, In 2017, he leased Asics their global flagship location on Fifth Avenue followed by their Soho store on Broadway.

In 2015, Mr. Berke received the JLL "Gold Baton Award" for team collaboration.  In recognition of his accomplishments, Mr. Berke in 2013, 2015, 2016 and 2017 was named a "JLL Top Gun" for outstanding performance and production.

Education and Affiliations

Mr. Berke earned a bachelor of arts degree from Union College, where he studied economics and Spanish. He is a member of the Real Estate Board of New York (REBNY) and the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC).  Mr. Berke is a licensed real estate broker.
