​Current responsibilities
John Heald is primarily responsible for brokerage activities related to tenant representation including new business development, client service, account management, lease audit, and financial analysis.

Prior to joining JLL, John spent 4 years as a Captain in the United States Marine Corps where he served as the Commanding Officer for over 450 Marines while part of the 1st Light Armored Reconnaissance Battalion.  Upon leaving the Marine Corps he started his sales career with Boston Scientific, a global medical device company, where he was routinely recognized for excellent client service.
Since joining JLL in 2011, John has handled real estate transactions in excess of $45MM.  He has found a particular niche in handling Headquarters transactions and understanding the dynamics specific to organizational efficiency. John has assisted various local and global corporations in developing and implementing real estate strategies. Representative clients include Hilton Worldwide, White & Case LLP, Lockheed Martin, and MarineMax.

John’s ability to connect the dots and look at an issue from multiple angles has tremendously impacted his success within the firm. His no nonsense mentality and solution oriented approach to problem solving has earned him the respect of his clients.

Education and affiliations
John holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration-Management degree from the University of Florida.  He is a two time veteran of Operation Iraqi Freedom having served in both the Al Anbar and Ninewa provinces.  John is a past Chairman of the Veterans Employment Committee at the Greater Tampa Chamber of Commerce and regularly devotes his time to helping veterans transition into meaningful business careers.
