Current Responsibilities Blake Shipley is Senior Vice President with the JLL Landlord Leasing Group in Dallas, where he is responsible for the leasing & marketing of commercial office properties throughout the Metroplex. Mr. Shipley specifically focuses on the strategic positioning of his clients real estate assets to maximize value. Current & former clients include: KBS Realty Advisors, USSA Realco, Glenstar Properties, Equity Office Properties, The Blackstone Group, MetLife, LaSalle Investment Management, PIMCO, Investcorp, Brookwood Financial, Quadrant Investments, CDI, Asana Partners, Westdale, The Prescott Group, Buchanan Street Advisors, Capital Commercial Investments, and Rosemont Realty.
Prior to joining JLL, Mr. Shipley was an Associate at CBRE from 2006 – 2011 and part of the agency leasing team there.
Mr. Shipley also spent two years at CBRE as a Financial Analyst & Transaction Manager on the Bank of America corporate services account. He focused on bank retail & office lease renewals, new ATM locations and support of the New Store development team.
Education and Affiliations
Mr. Shipley attended Abilene Christian University where he earned a Bachelor’s of Business Administration in Management and Marketing. Mr. Shipley has served as a board member of the North Texas Commercial Association of Realtors (NTCAR), a member of TREC and is a licensed real estate sales professional in Texas. Mr. Shipley is actively involved at his church where he and his wife lead small groups within the marriage ministry.
In 2014 Mr. Shipley was selected to be a part of JLL’s mentor/protégé program. There he had the yearlong opportunity to learn alongside JLL’s top agency leasing producer, Chris Roeder, the Managing Director of the San Francisco office. This experience was foundational to Mr. Shipley’s ability to assist clients with the repositioning of assets. These efforts have been led by a unique understanding of "gateway city" trends, modern space utilization & technology.
