Current responsibilities
Richard Hunt is the Regional Account Director overseeing integrated facilities management and real estate strategies and programs for our healthcare accounts. In this role, Richard provides industry expertise to clients and leadership to JLL account teams for innovation, development, and value creation.

Prior to his current role, Richard led JLL's Healthcare Platform support team (engineering, construction, real estate, property management, environment of care, compliance, energy management, strategic sourcing and technology) as well as new account deployment and business intelligence modeling.

He also served as JLL's practice leader for Integrated Service Delivery methods.

Prior to joining JLL, Richard held senior leadership roles in corporate real estate departments at Washington Mutual Bank, International Business Machines, Informix Software and Mercantile Bancorporation. 

As Vice President of Real Estate at Washington Mutual, he created an industry-leading, dedicated corporate real estate relationship management organization focused on strategy and relationship management that produced innovative real estate strategies and delivered significant labor-based portfolio alignment value.

While with IBM, Richard led the global merger and acquisition integration team that successfully merged large, complex acquisitions including Price Waterhouse Coopers Consulting, Rational Software, and other significant acquisitions to increase IBM's Software and Business Consulting Divisions.

As Director of Global Workplace Solutions for Informix Software, Richard managed the combined business support organization consisting of procurement, security, travel and real estate, providing integrated solutions for a global portfolio of over 120 offices located in 65 individual countries.

Twelve years of experience with JLL managing four previous strategic client relationships:

  • Adventist Health
  • T-Mobile USA
  • Sprint
  • Microsoft

In all assignments, he has created value for our clients in healthcare, retail, technical, and corporate real estate portfolios through strategy development, retail, organizational design and change, and strategic sourcing initiatives to reduce and contain costs.

Richard holds an M.B.A. from Webster University in St. Louis, Missouri and a Bachelor of Arts in Religious Studies from Southwest Baptist University.

He also attended Midwestern Theological Seminary studying for a Masters of Divinity degree. 

He is a member of the International Facilities Management Association and has served as the President of the Kansas City Chapter. He is the author of "Transforming CRE Value through Relationship Management" published in the Journal of Corporate Real Estate and is a Certified Six Sigma Greenbelt.
