Current Responsibilities
John Padgham is currently an Account Director providing senior leadership and oversight to a number of the firm’s clients in the Southeast U.S, including Duke Energy, The Coca-Cola Company, and the Metro Atlanta YMCA.  Since 2009, John has also been the Client Relationship Manager for all services provided to AT&T’s 65 million s.f. Southeast Region portfolio by Jones Lang LaSalle.  In this role, John is responsible for the successful delivery of all real estate services, and works with AT&T’s corporate real estate leaders to develop key strategies, initiatives, and key performance goals each year.  Prior to assuming this role, he served as the Client Relationship Manager for National City Bank’s 17 million s.f. real estate portfolio. 

From 2006 to 2008, John was responsible for managing many of the support services for the firm’s Corporate Solutions and Markets businesses, including the Atlas & Best Practices program, the Peer Review program, the Engineering & Operations support team, the Transition Process for new Corporate Clients, and our Strategic Sourcing practice.

From 2004 to 2006, John was the South Regional Manager for the firm’s Corporate Property Services division, where John was responsible for the overall performance of the South Region and directed Client Relationship Managers in Atlanta, Birmingham, Baltimore, Dallas, Louisville, and Charlotte to achieve client performance objectives.  Among the clients John worked with were Compass Bank, T. Rowe Price, The Coca-Cola Company, Duke Energy, and BellSouth.

Previously, John has served the firm as the Director of Shared Services, Division President for the Markets Division, Chief Operating Officer for the firm’s Retail Division, and Regional Manager for the Markets Division.  John began his real estate career as a Property Manager in 1988 and quickly advanced through the management ranks after repeatedly demonstrating an ability to achieve exceptional results managing large and complex properties.

John has twenty-three years’ experience managing and leasing office properties, and has managed properties for Jones Lang LaSalle in Dallas, Charlotte, Pittsburgh, Cleveland, and Atlanta.  During his career he has successfully managed a number of high-profile property renovations, directed property leasing teams, managed investment underwriting and due diligence activities, and improved property performance by aggressively implementing creative expense reduction programs.

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle in 1988, John worked as an investment analyst and strategic planning consultant in the oil and gas industry.  He earned an MBA from the University of North Carolina in 1984 and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
