Current responsibilities
Mr. Wilson, Senior Project Manager of Project and Development Services for the Industrial Markets, is responsible for assisting our clients with their capital improvement programs, including build-to-suit projects, tenant improvements and repositioning or reconditioning of existing facilities. 
 
Specialties
Mr. Wilson is typically involved in the entire project development process from early strategic planning through facility commissioning and start-up.  His involvement includes needs assessments; facility programming and specifications; budgeting; scheduling; land planning and site due diligence; design management; entitlements and permitting; construction planning; procurement and contracting; construction management; equipment commissioning and start-up; and relocation coordination.
 
Years of experience
Mr. Wilson has more than 11 years experience in the planning and execution of commercial development and construction projects including distribution facilities and tenant improvement projects for customers in the logistics, automotive, electronics, consumer products, energy, and food service industries as well as for downtown office building repositioning and construction. 
 
Experience
Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Wilson was a Project Manager for Verde Realty where he was responsible for the design and construction of 1.5 million square feet of Class A industrial space across six Texas and New Mexico markets with a total development cost of $60 million, as well as being responsible for all tenant improvement projects in Verde’s 6.7 million square foot industrial portfolio in the United States.  Mr. Wilson also led due diligence efforts on a 199 acre tract of land in Phoenix, AZ for a master planned industrial park with a proforma estimated 3.3 million square foot Class A industrial campus having development costs in excess of $160 million. Mr. Wilson previously worked with Spaulding & Slye Colliers in Washington, DC and the Clark Construction Group in Bethesda, MD.

Mr. Wilson earned his bachelor of science degree in mechanical engineering with a minor in economics from Purdue University, and is also a graduate of the Real Estate Management Program at Harvard Business School .
