Current responsibilities

Mr. Samler is Vice President of JLL's Location Economics Practice. Matt represents clients in site selection strategy, incentives negotiation, program filings and contract implementation. Matt has worked throughout North America on projects ranging from state of the art aerospace manufacturing and multiple large-scale headquarters relocations, to many small to mid-size companies in areas including small food manufacturing operations and high growth/early stage tech companies.

Matt utilizes his finance and legal background when working with clients to negotiate and model tax and non-tax savings including property tax, sales taxes, income/franchise taxes, jobs grants, infrastructure grants, training grants and other creative savings solutions. 

Education and affiliations

Matt graduated from St. Mary's School of Law with a Juris Doctorate and was admitted to the State Bar of Texas in 2007. Prior to graduate school, Matt attended Southern Methodist University Cox School of Business where he graduated with a Bachelors of Business Administration with a concentration in Finance.
