Andrew G. Jones - Managing Director, Project & Development Services

Current responsibilities
As a Managing Director, Andrew is responsible for leading PDS’s real estate development practice group in the Mid-Atlantic Region, and he is a member of its senior executive council.  His primary responsibility is to provide strategic and tactical planning, due diligence, transaction analysis, negotiations, and implementation oversight for client owned or leased base building projects.  Andrew joined Jones Lang LaSalle in the 2008 merger with the Staubach Company.

Years of experience

Andrew’s career includes being a corporate real estate tenant, a commercial general contractor, a managing general partner and executive for commercial real estate development firms, and as a project management consultant.  His depth of experience in commercial real estate provides Jones Lang LaSalle’s clients with a highly practical and realistic outlook on the full spectrum of real estate challenges. 

As a project management consultant to signature corporations and organizations, he has negotiated over $2 billion in commercial lease and purchase transactions.  His expertise and guidance has assisted clients in the successful planning, design and completion of over $1 billion dollars in real estate development, base building and tenant improvement construction projects involving more than 10 million square feet of commercial office, technology, laboratory, retail and industrial space.

At Staubach, Andrew led the Northeast Region design & construction consulting services group.  He was also founder and principal of The Callander Group, a project management consulting firm, and Sargis & Jones, the twelfth largest commercial general contractor in the Washington D.C. Metropolitan Area.  At the international management consulting firm of Booz Allen & Hamilton, Andrew directed the national corporate real estate, procurement and facility management departments for seven corporate divisions.
