Our people

Current responsibilities 
Karen directs the overall marketing program for the Southcentral region for JLL, a $160 + million annual revenue group that includes offices in Dallas, Austin, Fort Worth and Kansas City.  She also oversees regional marketing personnel, programs and budgets for the whole Texas region.  She coordinates an integrated program for the region, working with public relations and research to translate the company’s business strategies into tangible revenue-enhancing programs and initiatives. With a track record of building teams and infrastructure, Karen drives the development of new tools, utilizing research for enhanced sales material, and instituting strategies to increase market and mind share. 

Karen consults with business unit leaders to deliver effective sales materials and strategies customized to the needs of their groups, teaming to prepare effective, business-winning presentations for local, regional and national business pursuits.   She has prepared material for a broad client base, including clients such as JPMorgan, Comerica, Deloitte, HDR and the American Heart Association.  Regional brand awareness activities include coordinating web presence; direct mail programs; client events; e-marketing; and advertising. Her communications responsibilities include coordination of community charitable activities as well as employee events.  

Prior to The Staubach Company / JLL (the firms merged in 2008), she spent eight years with Kennedy-Wilson (formerly The Fults Companies). As Director of Operations and Research in Dallas, she oversaw office functions, creation and production of all major presentations, proposals, and printed and digital material.  Research responsibilities included authoring the Fults Market Report, a semi-annual overview of Metroplex real estate mailed to over 4,000 companies nationwide.  

Education and affiliations
Karen earned a bachelor of science in psychology from Texas Christian University, graduating with Phi Beta Kappa honors.  She also has a master of educational psychology from Kansas State University. She has been awarded her company’s Innovation Award three separate times and received the Staubach Wolfpack Award, the group’s top award, in 2008. Last year Karen was named JLL Marketing’s Top Manager.
