Current Responsibilities
Mr. Lee is a Senior Vice President in the Public Institutions group in Jones Lang LaSalle’s Washington, DC office.  With the firm since July 2008 via the acquisition of The Staubach Company, he supports the National Broker Contract (NBC) for the General Services Administration (GSA) as the Program Manager Alternate.  He is responsible for managing all GSA lease transactions throughout the nation from Region 1 through Region 11.  Mr. Lee brings more than nine years of federal real estate experience.

Experience
As the Program Manager Alternate, Mr. Lee assists in managing each GSA Region.  Additionally, he is also responsible for leasing transactions from beginning to end, conducting market due diligence, identifying viable building alternatives, negotiating a below market rental rate and building out space to meet the tenant agency’s requirements.

Mr. Lee served as a Vice President and the National Program Manager for The Staubach Company on the GSA NBC. 

Prior to joining The Staubach Company, Mr. Lee served as an Associate Director for Jones Lang LaSalle’s Government Investor Services group.  Mr. Lee worked on the acquisition, leasing, planning, development, management and disposition of federal realty.  In this capacity, he gained experience in the full range of federal government real estate, with work involving site orientation and selection, market analysis, valuation methodologies, construction management and lease negotiations. 

Furthermore, he gained real estate finance, marketing and asset underwriting as an Associate with RER.

Education and Affiliations
Mr. Lee earned a B.A. in economics from the University of Maryland. Mr. Lee is a licensed real estate salesperson in Washington, DC, Virginia and Maryland and is a member of Federal Real Property Association (FRPA). 

In 2001, Mr. Lee was recognized by Greater Washington Commercial Association of Realtors (GWCAR) for the Lease Transaction of the Year in Washington, DC for the Securities & Exchange Commission Headquarters requirement. 

Additionally, Mr. Lee was recognized by CoStar with the Power Broker Award in 2003, 2004 and 2005.
