Current responsibilities
Kirk Horiuchi is a Senior Vice President for JLL’s Retail Group. He serves as a Regional Manager for properties in Hawaii.

He is also responsible for business development and relationship management for existing and prospective clients seeking retail services in the state of Hawaii.

His focus is working directly with clients to ensure an understanding of investment objectives, sourcing acquisitions, developing growth strategies and meeting service needs.

Experience
Kirk brings nearly 20 years of experience in the commercial real estate industry. Prior to joining JLL, Kirk worked as Senior Asset Manager for Kamehameha Schools in Honolulu where he was responsible for maximizing value and cash flows for a portfolio of commercial properties valued at over $700 million.

His responsibilities included leasing and operations for the retail properties within the portfolio. Additionally, he was instrumental in the redevelopment, repositioning and remerchandising of the Royal Hawaiian Center and Windward Mall.

Prior to joining Kamehameha schools, Kirk served as Vice President, Regional Manager and Principal Broker for JLL in Hawaii where he was responsible for leasing and management of two high-rise office buildings.

Kirk's additional experience includes being President of Wagner & Wagner Property Management, Inc. where he provided clients with recommendations on lease and contract negotiations as well as asset enhancement.

He also held the position of Director of Asset Management for Equitable Real Estate Investment Management where he managed a portfolio of 2 million square feet of office space.

Additional positions held during his career include Financial Analyst and Senior Auditor.

Education
Kirk received a bachelor of science degree in business administration from the University of Hawaii and a master’s degree in business administration from The University of California, Berkeley.

Affiliations
He is an active member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC), is a board member of the University of Hawaii Alumni Association and the Hawaii Chapter of CCIM, and is the President of the Shidler College of Business Alumni Association.

Additionally, Kirk is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM) and a Certified Public Accountant.
