Joel Wicks is a Project Manager for the Project and Development Services Group in the San Francisco Bay Area. His responsibilities include project management and owner’s representation for ground-up construction projects.

Joel is now serving as an owner’s representative for Bridgestone Retail Operations where he manages the entire development process for the new construction and renovation of autocare/retail centers. He is involved in the process from site selection, due diligence, entitlements, design & permitting, construction through closeout.  When executing these projects, he employs innovative and efficient strategies to reduce costs and improve quality.

Prior to Bridgestone, he was on the Jones Lang LaSalle project management team for Bay Area Rapid Transit District (BART) managing two Design/Build teams who constructed BART’s new West Dublin/Pleasanton Station, 472 stall parking structure in Pleasanton, and 717 stall parking structure in Dublin which are all linked by pedestrian bridges spanning freeway 580. His role was coordinating the extensive submittal process, managing the Quality Assurance testing and inspection firm, preparing project status reports, invoices, and financials, evaluating contractor change orders for reasonableness and facilitating approvals between the client, the Design/Build teams and various public entities – Caltrans, PG&E, Zone 7 Water Agency, City of Dublin, and City of Pleasanton.
