Current Responsibilities
Mr. Simpson adds a broad depth of experience to Jones Lang LaSalle’s Industrial Project and Development Services group.  This experience proves valuable in understanding and addressing Client’s needs; proposing proven and creative solutions and implementing those solutions to drive successful projects.  His key roles lie in site and project assessment as well as in efficiently and effectively assembling and leading teams of professionals and contractors through the development and construction process.  Throughout his career he has a well demonstrated history of client satisfaction.

Experience
Mr. Simpson has led the development and construction of over 10msf of industrial product type including ground up, renovation, expansion, tenant improvements and master planning.  He has initiated projects totaling over $1B in all areas of the Southeast and Atlantic seaboard.  Having executed projects both as a contractor and as a developer he provides valuable insight into the many competing interests of all project stakeholders.  With this knowledge and insight he can insure that thorough and risk averse projects are conceived with well defined scopes of work, budgets and schedules.

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Simpson served as Principal at Trammel Crow Company and was responsible for site assessment, development and construction management services in its mid-South region.  He also served as Senior Project Manager for Hardin Construction Company where he maintained overall responsibility for project success and client satisfaction.

Education and Affiliations
Mr. Simpson holds a bachelor of science degree in Building Science from Auburn University.  He is a LEED Accredited professional and a member of the United States Green Building Council.  Additionally, he holds certification as a Project Management Professional.
