Current responsibilities
Christine joined Jones Lang LaSalle in 2006. Her role within the New York financial analytics and advisory services team involve deriving complex financial valuation and strategic occupancy solutions to help facilitate the execution of commercial leasing and sale transactions as well as other consulting projects.

Years of experience

Christine is experienced in developing lease versus own financial models on a before/after tax and P&L basis, sale leaseback, property level valuation, development models, fair market value assessment reports, feasibility studies, multiple building portfolio reviews and market research reports for numerous financial, non-profit and law firm clients. She has experience underwriting office, retail and mixed-use properties throughout the New York metro region as well as other markets across the U.S.

Key transactions
Christine is currently involved in a potential lease restructuring of an 850,000-square-foot single tenanted office building in downtown Chicago. She is supporting the negotiations by developing multiple strategies from both ownership and tenant perspective and evaluating the impacts on building value. Additional projects involve a simultaneous disposition of existing office condo and acquisition of a new 35,000-square-foot condo interest in lower Manhattan on behalf of a non-profit client.

Since joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Christine has advised numerous tenants on their real estate requirements most notably Prudential’s 700,000-square-foot build-to-suit corporate headquarters and Comcast/NBCU’s 1.3M-square-foot renewal at 30 Rockefeller Plaza.

Ms. Tong graduated from Columbia University with a MS in Real Estate and a BA in Economics from Binghamton University.

She is a member of the Urban Land Institute. She is also a licensed New York Real Estate Salesperson.
