Current responsibilities
Christine Espenshade joined JLL in 2010 and leads the JLL Mid-Atlantic Multifamily team. She is responsible for business development, financial underwriting and representing owners in the sale of multifamily assets in the Mid-Atlantic region and affordable housing across the country.

With more than 20 years of experience in the multifamily industry, Christine has held positions at JPI, Archon Group, and MuniMae. During her tenure with JLL, Christine has managed the sale or recapitalization of more than $4 billion in multifamily investments throughout the U.S. In addition to her portfolio management and disposition roles, Christine's experience includes the development of student, senior, and family housing, property management, construction management, accounting, valuation policy and underwriting.

Christine  was named one of Baltimore Magazine’s “40 Under 40” and as one of Maryland’s Top 100 Women by The Daily Record in 2014 and 2017. More recently, Christine was recognized as a “Star to Watch” by Commercial Property Executive Magazine.

Christine received her B.A. degree in Politics from Princeton University.

Christine sits on the Board of Trustees for the Walters Art Museum and the Enoch Pratt Free Library. 

She also volunteers for the Princeton Alumni Association of Maryland and serves on the Capital Campaign Committee for The Calvert School. 

Professionally, Christine is a member of the National Multifamily Housing Council (NMHC) and is involved with Commercial Real Estate Women (CREW) and Urban Land Institute (ULI).
