Career Summary    
Mr. Herter is a Vice President in the firm's Capital Markets Group.  His responsibility is to provide financial and due diligence analysis for the firm’s west coast transactions in Northern California and the Pacific Northwest.
Mr. Herter joined Jones Lang LaSalle’s Capital Markets Group in 2006. His primary responsibilities include the comprehensive analysis and underwriting of investment sales through the creation of Argus models, cash flows, lease review and due diligence. He prepares detailed financial modeling to position an asset to the most relevant capital and create the optimal value of the asset in the market place. Mr. Herter also conducts in depth analysis for the financial structuring of equity and debt placement, primarily focusing on restructuring existing asset capital stacks and potential stress-related sales opportunities. Other responsibilities include the creation of marketing material for current assignments and business development.

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Mr. Herter interned with CB Richard Ellis in their Boston, MA office where he helped the research department put together market reports and marketing materials for clients.      
    
Education and Affiliations    
Mr. Herter is a graduate of Middlebury College in which he earned a B.A. degree in Architecture and Economics.  He is a California Licensed Real Estate Salesperson and a LEED Accredited Professional.
