Our people

Current Responsibilities
Bruce Sirota is responsible for the development and execution of energy and sustainability portfolio management services and currently oversees a team of 17 energy engineers. In addition, Mr. Sirota is leading the effort to standardize the portfolio programs across major accounts and was instrumental in the development of the industry’s only Portfolio Energy & Environmental Reporting System (PEERS).

Prior to joining the Energy and Sustainability team in 2007, Mr. Sirota developed the Jones Lang LaSalle 4SIGHTSM emergency preparedness program and led product improvement and quality assurance initiatives. He also headed up the effort to standardize and improve the maintenance management and work order systems, critical environment management program, and operations quality audit program.

Additionally, he is responsible for research and development of new products and procedures pertaining to commercial buildings operations.

A 30-year engineering and operations veteran, Mr. Sirota came to Jones Lang LaSalle from Grubb & Ellis, where he was Regional Vice President for the Facility Resource Group. As Regional Vice President, he was responsible for providing engineering and
technical support for the company’s Property and Facility Management Division.

Prior to this, he was an Associate with Hatch Associates and a Project Manager with Inland Steel Company, where he managed the engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning of several multi-million dollar projects for the iron, steel and light
metals industries. These projects ranged from major new processing facilities, to state-of-the-art production improvements and implementation of operational excellence enhancements designed to reduce operating costs and improve product quality.

Education and Affiliations
Mr. Sirota graduated from the University of Illinois at Urbana Champaign, with a B.S. in civil engineering. Since, he has continued his education in ISO quality systems, project management and engineering and team building.
