Jones Lang LaSalle Completes 131,000 SF Industrial Lease for HeartWare at Miami Lakes, FLA

MIAMI, March 25, 2011 – HeartWare, Inc., a subsidiary of HeartWare International, Inc., a medical device company signed a lease for a new 131,000-square-foot facility at 14000-14050 NW 57th Court, Miami Lakes, Florida. The facility will be used for research and development, manufacturing and administrative functions as part of the firm’s expansion plans.  

Jones Lang LaSalle’s Keith Edelman, Senior Vice President and Scott Goldstein, Vice President represented HeartWare, Inc. in the transaction.  The property owners, Marcus Partners and The Easton Group, were represented by Jim Armstrong of The Easton Group and Lee Kastikos of The Kastikos Group.
