Premier Industrial Broker John Langa Joins Jones Lang LaSalle

Veteran will spearhead the firm’s industrial launch in the St. Louis market

ST. LOUIS, MO, April 2, 2009 – Jones Lang LaSalle announced today that 10-year commercial real estate veteran John Langa has joined the company as Vice President. Mr. Langa specializes in industrial brokerage in the Midwest, focusing primarily in St. Louis. The move bolsters Jones Lang LaSalle’s expanding presence in the Midwest, and launches the firm’s industrial expertise in St. Louis.

Mr. Langa provides his in-depth market knowledge coupled with transaction, strategy and planning expertise and experience to represent individual users, large corporations and investments groups in the acquisition, disposition, leasing and marketing of buildings and land throughout the area. He has work with national and mid market privately held companies.

Mr. Langa joins Jones Lang LaSalle from Opus Northwest where he was a director of real estate development and had been with CB Richard Ellis as an industrial broker prior to that.  He has also served as the executive director for public economic agencies in Missouri and Florida.  His current affiliations include membership and service to the St. Louis Association of Realtors and the Board of Advisors at Pulaski Bank, as well as devoting time to community youth baseball and basketball programs as a manager and coach. Previously, he was affiliated with the Architectural Review Board for the City of Chesterfield, Missouri, and the Habitat for Humanity Board of Directors in multiple cities. Mr. Langa holds a Master of Science degree in City and Regional Planning, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the University of Kansas.
