Jones Lang LaSalle Hires Jason Warner as Managing Director in its Mission Critical Solutions Group

Specialist in real estate services for critical facilities to focus on full scope of data center technical requirements

LOS ANGELES, Jan. 25, 2011–Jones Lang LaSalle today announced that it has hired 17-year industry veteran Jason Warner as Managing Director in the firm’s Mission Critical Solutions (MCS) group. Warner, based in the firm’s Downtown Los Angeles office, will work to build Jones Lang LaSalle's MCS group throughout the West Coast. Additionally, key to Jason's role within the MCS group will be to coordinate specifically with Jones Lang LaSalle’s Corporate Solutions group and its corporate clients’ technical real estate needs.  The MCS group provides the full range of data center and colocation services including site selection, site due diligence, project financing, development, project management, public incentives negotiations and ongoing critical facilities management.

“Jason has an extensive background focused on meeting each client’s unique critical environment needs, and therefore he was a natural choice to help grow our mission critical practice,” said Whitley Collins, Jones Lang LaSalle's Senior Managing Director of Brokerage for the Los Angeles Region.

Throughout his career, Warner has developed a deep understanding of “technical” real estate including national site selection for large enterprise data center users, consulting and strategy for major telecommunications companies as well as development and implementation in all areas of wholesale and retail colocation operations.  Among his past positions, he served as National Alliance Director for Broadwing Communications where he oversaw the successful management of a portfolio of over 1.3 million square feet for this telecommunications giant from January 2005 until its sale to Level (3) Communications in December 2006. In 17 years, he has completed 7.5 million square feet of transactions valued at $1.25 billion.

Warner graduated from University of Southern California with a bachelor’s degree in economics and real estate development. He is a board member of the Committee and Cardinal & Gold Associations with the University of Southern California.  Warner and his wife Elizabeth have two sons: Scott, age 10 and Jackson, age 8.
