Jones Lang LaSalle Grows South Florida Business with New Project Management Specialist

Firm hires top project manager J. Shannon Crowell in South Florida


MIAMI, Jan. 24, 2011 — Jones Lang LaSalle has appointed J. Shannon Crowell as Vice President for the firm’s Project and Development Services (PDS) team.  Based in Miami, Crowell will focus on clients that require project and development management services. He will be providing advisory, development and project related services for private and public clients across the region.

Crowell brings 19 years of development management experience to Jones Lang LaSalle with specialized knowledge in large and complex projects through planning, design and construction. Crowell's professional background and experience includes positions with Hines Interest, the Adrienne Arsht Center for the Performing Arts of Miami-Dade County and with Walt Disney Regional Entertainment.

He has provided leadership for several marquee projects at the University of Miami's Coral Gables Campus. Other major project experience includes serving as a Senior Development Manager for Constructa-US' Mary Brickell Village, Senior Project Manager for Accor Hotel’s $140 million construction of the Sofitel Hotel in Manhattan and has worked on various municipal and infrastructure projects throughout greater Miami. He joins Jones Lang LaSalle from Hines Interest in Washington, DC.

Crowell is a State Certified General Contractor and graduated with a bachelor’s degree in architecture from the University of Miami, Coral Gables.
