Jones Lang LaSalle’s Herman Bulls Elected to USAA Board of Directors


SAN ANTONIO, Jan. 11, 2011 —USAA today announced the election of retired Army Reserve Col. Herman E. Bulls to its board of directors. A longtime member of USAA, Bulls brings extensive military and business leadership experience to the board.
 
“Our board seeks accomplished members who have distinguished themselves in military or business, and Colonel Bulls certainly meets those criteria and then some,” said retired Army Maj. Gen. Joe Robles, USAA’s president and CEO.
 
Bulls is the founder and CEO of Jones Lang LaSalle’s Public Institutions division and serves on the boards of directors of Comfort Systems, USA, Rasmussen, Inc. and the West Point Association of Graduates. He is a graduate of the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, where he also taught economics and finance. He holds an MBA from Harvard Business School and retired as a colonel in the U.S. Army Reserve in 2008.
