Jones Lang LaSalle Completes 35,000 SF Industrial Lease for Nippon Express (USA), Inc. in Miami, FL

MIAMI, Jan. 11, 2011 — Jones Lang LaSalle has completed a 35,000-square-foot warehouse lease at Airport Business Center in Miami, FL for Nippon Express (USA), Inc.  The supply chain solutions firm will be relocating to the site at, 3409-A NW 72nd Avenue from a nearby facility in Doral during the first quarter of 2011.

Jones Lang LaSalle Managing Director Steve Medwin, SIOR, CCIM, Executive Vice President Harry Wardell, SIOR and Vice President Nick Wigoda teamed up with Hitoshi Aratani, Senior Vice President in Jones Lang LaSalle’s New York City office, to represent the tenant, Nippon Express (USA), Inc.

“Leasing activity in Miami has rebounded strongly during the past 12 months. This is another example of firms requiring close proximity to Latin America,” noted Medwin.  “The influence of growth in international trade was a key factor in the 1.6 million square feet of industrial property deals that were completed in 2010 by Jones Lang LaSalle’s South Florida industrial brokerage team.”
