Jones Lang LaSalle Expands Project and Development Services in Orange County

Firm hires David Prolo as Executive Vice President and Pamela Heckman as Vice President


IRVINE, Calif., Nov. 29, 2010 — Jones Lang LaSalle today announced the hiring of David Prolo as an Executive Vice President and Pamela Heckman, LEED AP, as Vice President for the firm’s Project and Development Service group in Orange County.  In this role, Prolo will manage complex developments of multi-family, mixed-use and commercial projects throughout the Orange County market. He is also tasked with growing the firm’s business in the region.  Heckman will be responsible for the oversight and management of various construction projects in Orange County.

“We see Orange County and the multifamily sector as two areas for growth in the coming years,” said Judy Caruthers, Executive Vice President of the firm’s Project and Development Services group in the Southwest region. “We anticipate that client demand will increase in 2011 and we are confident that David and Pamela have the experience and skills necessary to serve this growing need for project management services.”

Prior to joining Jones Lang LaSalle, Prolo was Division President of John Laing Homes responsible for more than $1.55 billion in housing revenue and 3800 homes sold.  Throughout his 17 years in real estate, he has managed the development of 14 multi-family communities, 20,000 square feet of retail space and three tenant improvement/renovations of assisted and skilled nursing facilities.

Prolo has a Bachelor of Science degree in Construction Management from Brigham Young University and is a member of Sigma Lamdba Chi. He serves Home Aid Orange County as Treasurer and Executive Committee Board Member and the Boy Scouts of America – Orange County Council as Assistant Scout Master and Council Volunteer.

Heckman previously was the Leasing and Tenant Manager at Makar Properties where she was directly involved with the design development, leasing and operational set up for a 191,000-square-foot mixed-use project.  She is an active member of Urban Land Institute and International Council of Shopping Centers.
