Westchester-Putnam Council to honor Quartararo at 2010 Real Estate & Construction ‘Good Scout’ Award Dinner

NEW YORK, November 19, 2010 — Jones Lang LaSalle announced that Raymond Quartararo, international director, with the company’s New York office will receive a 2010 Good Scout Award from the Westchester-Putnam Council of the Boy Scouts of America.

The Good Scout Award is presented annually to those who exemplify in their daily lives the ideals of the Boy Scouts of America as expressed in the Scout Oath and Law. Recipients are chosen for their outstanding community service as evidenced by their interest and leadership given to many worthwhile organizations, and the respect and esteem in which they are held by their colleagues. Quartararo serves as Cubmaster of Pack 2 Rye, and his two sons are scouts with the Westchester-Putnam Council.

“I am honored to receive the Good Scout Award from my local council of the Boy Scouts of America,” said Quartararo. “The Boy Scouts is a fabulous organization that does a great deal of work with the youth in my area dealing with difficult economic circumstances. Jones Lang LaSalle looks forward to helping raise funds to assist the Boy Scouts in continuing its efforts to help our local kids.”

Quartararo will receive the award at the 2010 Real Estate & Construction “Good Scout” Award Dinner on Wednesday, Dec. 8, at the Hilton Rye Town, 699 Westchester Avenue in Rye Brook, N.Y. The event will benefit the BSA’s Westchester-Putnam Council.
