Silverpeak Real Estate Partners takes 13,172 SF on 12th floor; Harry Winston Inc. expands to 20,800 SF on 33rd floor & 34th floor

NEW YORK, November 17, 2010 — Jones Lang LaSalle has completed two transactions totaling 33,972 square feet on behalf of Otéra Capital at 1330 Avenue of the Americas. Silverpeak Real Estate Partners signed a lease for 13,172 square feet of office space, and Harry Winston Inc. inked a 20,800-square-foot, five-year renewal and expansion at the 40-story, 534,222-square-foot, Class A boutique office building.

The building owner was represented by Frank Doyle, international director, Cynthia Wasserberger, managing director, David Kleiner, senior vice president, and Alexis Tener, associate, all with Jones Lang LaSalle’s New York office. Silverpeak Real Estate Partners was represented by Stephen Berliner, executive vice president and New York branch manager, and Edward Kang, managing director, of Studley. Harry Winston was represented by Mark Boisi, chairman, and Michael Hoffman, senior managing director, with Cassidy Turley.

“This is the pre-eminent boutique office building on Sixth Avenue,” said Doyle. “1330 Avenue of the Americas offers a unique opportunity for prestigious small to midsize tenants to obtain top-quality office space with expansive views of Central Park from the upper floors and the Sixth Avenue streetscape from the lower floors.”

Silverpeak Real Estate Partners leased 13,172 square feet at 1330 Avenue of the Americas and will occupy a portion of the 12th floor. The investment advisor is relocating to the Class A office building from its existing offices at 1271 Avenue of the Americas.

Harry Winston signed a renewal and expansion to 20,800 square feet and will occupy the entire 33rd floor and 34th floor at the building. The jewelry and timepiece retailer previously occupied the entire 33rd floor at 1330 Avenue of the Americas.

Jones Lang LaSalle serves as exclusive leasing agent and property manager for 1330 Avenue of the Americas. The company has pursued an aggressive marketing campaign for the building that features prebuilt spaces on the larger base floors and on the top floors. The base floors contain approximately 16,300 square feet of space and the tower floors offer approximately 10,000 square feet.

The 1330 Avenue of the Americas office building, constructed in 1965, is located in Manhattan on Sixth Avenue between West 53rd and West 54th streets. Existing office tenants at the building include Pearson, Silvercrest Asset Management Group and Allianz Risk Transfer.
